Gavi is a small village in Pathanamthitta district and is a part of Periyar Tiger Reserve. Gavi Eco-Tourism is the fastest growing project of the Kerala Forest Development Corporation.
At Gavi, there are hills and valleys, tropical forests, sprawling grasslands, shoals, cascading waterfalls and cardamom plantations that has been attracting a large pool of tourists over the years. The rich flora and fauna of Gavi forest are among one of the best places for trekking and camping activities in Idukki.

3.1 Day Trip at Gavi:
A day trip to Gavi is a must to make the most of your holiday. The Gavi Day package registration starts at 8.00 am in the morning followed by breakfast at 8.30-9.30am. The Gavi day trip package includes Boating at Gavi Lake(rowboat), visit cardamom plantations, curing house and Sabarimala view Point. Breakfast, Lunch and evening tea is also included in this package.
